Everton have loaned midfielder Joe Williams to Bolton Wanderers for the 2018/19 season.

The 21-year old, who has been with the club since he was seven, spent last season on loan with Barnsley, scoring once in 38 appearances for the Tykes.
It had been reported earlier this summer that Williams had been impressed manager Marco Silva in training, but with competition in midfield fierce, Everton have decided another season-long loan spell in the Championship would best aid his development.
Williams could potentially make his debut for the Trotters on Saturday, when the club travel to Preston North End.
