Everton have been linked with a move for Nicolas Pepe in recent times, but it seems the forward remains intent on staying put at LOSC Lille for the foreseeable future.
The Ivory Coast international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 outfit, with Goodison Park touted as a potential destination in recent times.
Pepe has been in impressive form for Lille this season and has emerged as one of the brightest players in France. The winger, who has been operating in a central role this term, has scored five goals in Ligue 1 already, chipping in with a further three assists.
A host of top clubs across Europe have been named as suitors for Pepe but the attacker has recently insisted that he has no plans to depart Lille in the immediate future.

Speaking to French news outlet Téléfoot, the 23-year-old rubbished claims that he will leave his club before the season comes to an end.
No, I won’t be leaving.
Reflecting on his decision to stay at Lille in the summer, Pepe stated:
I talked a lot with my advisors. I spoke with Luis Campos who brought me to LOSC. Also with my family, that counts a lot for me, and also with the coach who trusts me. It was important to talk to him. I decided to continue this season at LOSC to accomplish a big goal.
Everton have reportedly scouted Pepe in Lille’s recent outings and they’ll have undoubtedly been left impressed by his display against Marseille at the weekend, as he helped his side to a 3-0 victory.
