Everton eye football outcast Nasri for January move

Everton are reportedly interested in signing former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.

The 31-year old Frenchman is a free agent, having left Turkish Süper Lig side Antalyaspor last January, when he was given a drugs ban for receiving an intravenous drip treatment in Los Angeles in 2016.

It was reported that the drip was being used for hydration purposes, however it contained micronutrient components that are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

According to an exclusive by Ian Ladyman in the Daily Mail (Paper), Everton boss Marco Silva is considering bringing Nasri back to English football.

Where Nasri would fit into Everton’s set-up is an interesting question, with Bernard, Theo Walcott and Gylfi Sigurdsson the key creative players for the Toffees at the moment.
