United join Everton in pursuit of Eder Militao
Manchester United are set to rival Everton in their pursuit of Porto defender Eder Militao.
The Daily Record reports that the Porto youngster is on the club’s radar as they continue to search far and wide for defensive reinforcements.
United have reportedly been impressed by the player’s development since he arrived in Portugal.
Everton and Manchester City have previously been linked with the player, as scouts keep a close eye on his performances.
Marco Silva’s side have been known to watch the player in the Champions League on occasions this season.
Militao is very highly rated in Portugal after previously impressing at Sao Paulo.
The Brazilian is predominantly a central defender but can also play as a right-back.
With Kurt Zouma only on loan at Everton and Phil Jagielka coming towards the end of his playing days Silva will need to add to his defence either in January or the summer.
