Everton are reportedly interested in a deal to sign free agent Ajdin Hasic, with Spanish giants Real and Barcelona also keen.

According to Jutarnji, as cited on HITC, a contract dispute at former club Dinamo Zagreb means that he is available for nothing having been told to find himself a new club.

Once dubbed as ‘the new Dybala’, Hasic is highly rated and now has teams scrambling around for his signature.

Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund and Portuguese giants Benfica are also said to be interested in a deal to sign the player.

The report claims that the player had a contract lined up with Zagreb that would keep him with the club until 2021, but that is no longer the case.

Hasic’s rare contract situation with his former side Dinamo Zagreb means that he could be a potential bargain for any club that wins the race to sign him.

Would Hasic be a good signing for Everton?
