Everton enquire over deal to sign Barcelona’s Malcom

Everton have reportedly enquired about a deal to sign Malcom from Everton during the January transfer window.

Marca are reporting that the Toffees are set to go back in for the player after previously expressing an interest over the summer.

Everton were one of the many teams looking to sign the Brazilian during the summer transfer window, but they were of course unsuccessful.

However, things have not quite gone to plan for the Brazilian at the Nou Camp this season.

Malcom has failed to break into Ernesto Valverde’s plans, with reports suggesting that the Barcelona manager was not so keen to bring the player to the club in the first place.

The 21-year-old has started just once in La Liga this season and made a further four appearances off the bench.

The report claims that Malcom himself is keen to see out the season with Barcelona, despite the limited game time, something that could hinder Everton’s chances of completing a deal.
