Delph pictured in training – Could he feature on Saturday? Fan reactions

Several Everton fans have been buoyed on Twitter after Everton’s latest post shows Fabian Delph taking part in active training.

The Everton midfielder, who joined from Manchester City this summer, wasn’t expected to be fit to feature against Watford this weekend, having missed the opening game against Crystal Palace after picking up an injury during pre-season.

While it is still unclear as to whether he will be passed fit to play at Goodison Park on Saturday, the images on social media have got some Everton fans more excited and optimistic about the upcoming encounter.
