Everton fans continue to hijack Zaha’s tweets – Fan Reactions
Many Everton fans are continuing to hijack Wilfried Zaha’s tweets with requests for the Ivory Coast international to swap Crystal Palace for Merseyside.
Everton’s pursuit of Zaha over the summer, particularly over the last few days of the transfer window, has been well publicised. The Toffees were prepared to sign the Palace ace but were priced out a deal, while the 26-year old handed in a transfer request in a bid to force through a move, however nothing materialised.
While it isn’t clear whether Everton will reignite their interest in January, many Everton fans have made clear their desire for the club to try to sign Zaha again in the winter window, assuming he doesn’t leave for a European club this summer with many countries still having their transfer window open.
Taking to Twitter, a number of Everton fans replied to Zaha’s latest post, a picture of him and his son, to try and both convince the forward to leave the Eagles while also teasing the Palace fanbase.

Meanwhile several Arsenal fans also took the same approach, with the Palace star heavily linked with the Gunners before the club signed Nicholas Pepe from Lille.
