Several Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react to positive praise from Schalke for loanee Jonjoe Kenny.
The young right-back joined the Bundesliga outfit on a season-long loan earlier this summer, with Marcel Brands and Marco Silva keen to see the England Under-21 international pick up much needed top flight minutes this season.
Schalke manager David Wagner, formerly of Huddersfield Town, spoke highly of the young defender upon agreeing a short-term deal and Everton fans will be watching his progress in Gelsenkirchen, eager to see where he could fit in with the Toffees next season.

Kenny played the full 90 minutes for the Royal Blues in their opening Bundesliga fixture, drawing 0-0 with Borussia Monchengladbach.
After Schalke’s English account tweeted praise for Kenny, several fans responded positively to what appears to be a good start to life in Germany for the full-back.

I think it’s fantastic to see Jonjoe Kenny do so well in Germany. It is only early days, of course, but all signs are positive that the young defender can get regular minutes in the Bundesliga this season and return to Goodison Park next summer a more well rounded player.
As well as generally wanting Evertonians to succeed with Everton, I actually like Kenny and the way he operates down that right flank. More development and fine-tweaking, and the Toffees could have a very promising full-back next season.
