Valencia are interested in January move for Cenk Tosun
Valencia are interested in signing Cenk Tosun once the January window opens, according to reports.
The Turkey international’s future has become an almost daily transfer story on Merseyside, with each day seeming the forward linked by a different outlet with a January exit.
Sabah (via Sport Witness) now claim that the 28-year old is wanted by La Liga outfit Valencia, who are looking to bolster their attacking options in the winter window.
Valencia currently lit 8th in the Spanish top flight, and Sabah claim that Tosun is an option who could help them climb the league table to achieve Champions League qualification.
Tosun has fallen out of favour at Goodison Park, with all of Moise Kean, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison ahead of him in the pecking order, and the former Besiktas man is sure to take the opportunity to leave the club in January.
Tosun’s former club Besiktas are also said to be interested in completing a January transfer.

With any luck, the additional interest in Tosun’s services will hopefully spark a bidding war for the Turkish striker.
Yesterday we covered the story that Besiktas were looking to soon open talks over a loan move, but should Valencia come in for the forward, we could see one of the clubs look to buy Tosun on a permanent basis.
While Everton certainly won’t make their money back, the sooner they get an unwanted player off their wage bill the better.
