Everton scout hails Kean as one of world’s “greatest talents”
Everton chief scout Gretar Steinsson has spoken about Moise Kean, declaring him to be one of the greatest talents in the world.
There has been a bit of speculation about the Italian’s long-term future this week, with some sources claiming that Kean’s agent Mino Raiola wants to explore other options, with his Everton career not having taken off.
The 19-year old has started just twice in the Premier League, and he has yet to score in any competition for the Toffees since his summer switch from Juventus.
The Italy international carries so much potential and with it not having worked out for him just yet at Goodison Park, reports have suggested that AC Milan could look to give him an exit option in January.
However, Steinsson has sung the praises of the young forward, indicating Everton’s stance over the Golden Boy nominee.
Talking to Sky Sports (via Calciomercato), Steinsson said:
He is one of the greatest talents in the world. He’s young, he’s growing up. We’re glad he chose Everton.

This makes total sense because I cannot see Everton even wasting time on considering whether to let Kean leave in January.
His signing was seen as a major coup for the Toffees in the summer, and the club won’t be so quick to abandon the player simply because he has taken a bit of time to adjust.
Kean still remains one of the brightest young talents on the continent, and Everton aren’t going to let an asset like that go easily.
