Roma join race to sign Moise Kean on loan

Roma have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Moise Kean on loan from Everton in January.

Just this week we have reported on stories that AC Milan and Sampdoria are both interested in the former Juventus man, who has struggled to settle at Goodison Park.

Kean signed with so much promise in the summer after completing a £27million transfer, but he has yet to establish himself for the Toffees on Merseyside.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are in desperate need of striking options in January, and Kean could be a man they would consider.

The report claims that Roma are prioritising interest in Benfica duo Facundo Ferreyra (on-loan with Espanyol) and Haris Seferovic, but that if they cannot land either of the two, Kean on loan would be a solid alternative.

Roma would offer Kean a temporary exit to potential reignite his form, with his game time under Marco Silva have depleted in recent weeks.

In an attempt to not sound like a broken record, I’ll keep it brief: Everton will surely not loan out Moise Kean in January.

He is a work in progress, but he won’t learn away from the Premier League. He needs to be at Goodison Park, and Everton aren’t in a position to let him go.
