Pickford receives fan praise for England performance

Jordan Pickford pulled off some impressive saves on Thursday evening as England beat Montenegro 7-0 at Wembley.

Goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Marcus Rashford, Tammy Abraham, an own goal and a Harry Kane hat-trick saw the Three Lions breeze past Montenegro in their Euro 2020 qualifier.

It was England’s 1000th game, and Jordan Pickford showed once again why he has earned his No.1 jersey for Gareth Southgate’s side.

England’s win puts them three points clear of Czech Republic at the top of England’s qualifying group.

Responding to Pickford’s performance on social media, several fans were quick to shower praise on the Everton goalkeeper for another strong outing on the international stage.
