Bologna make contact over potential Kean loan
Bologna have contacted Everton in order to sound out a possible loan deal for Moise Kean in January, according to reports.
The Italian striker has struggled to settle on Merseyside since his £27million summer signing from Juventus, having failed to score in any of his appearances for the club this season.
The 19-year old has been in and out of the Everton team, and under Marco Silva he failed to secure a regular starting berth, often failing to even make it off the bench.
With the January window fast approaching, speculation has linked Kean with a return to Italy, with the forward’s father having expressed his desire to see Kean return to his homeland in the past.
Gazzetta dello Sport (via talkSPORT) claim that Bologna have made contact with the Toffees, with the Italian side said to be keen on the young star.
Marco Silva had previously backed Kean to succeed at Goodison Park, categorically declaring that the young forward would not be leaving in January.
Now that Silva has been sacked, it is now unclear whether Kean will still be on Merseyside when the transfer window closes.

Kean absolutely shouldn’t be let go in January, no matter who is the club’s manager at the time. He has potential and bags of ability, and he needs to be nurtured with patience, not farmed out on loan.
At this point, speculation seems to be pointing more and more to Kean becoming the next Sandro Ramirez, and that would be a mighty shame.
I do think Everton need to find a new forward in January, but that should be to replace the outgoing Cenk Tosun. Kean has to remain alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin as the young guns in the Toffees’ squad.
