Everton knock back Kean enquiry from Parma
Everton have knocked back an enquiry from Parma concerning Moise Kean, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Serie A side are looking for forward reinforcements this month following an injury to Roberto Inglese, and the Crusaders had identified Everton’s 19-year old front-man as an option.
Since joining the Toffees from Juventus in the summer for around £27million, the Italy international has struggled to settle in the Premier League, failing to score in his first 21 appearances for the club.
However, the Italian finally got off the mark for his new club against Newcastle earlier this week, scoring the home side’s first goal in a 2-2 draw.
Tuttomercatoweb claim that Everton currently have no intention of letting the talented young forward leave Goodison Park, and so subsequently the Blues have knocked back Parma’s enquiry.
Kean has started Everton’s last two games in the Premier League due to an injury to Richarlison, and having finally opened his goalscoring account on Merseyside, the forward will surely look to solidify his place under Carlo Ancelotti.

Prior to Moise Kean having scored his debut goal for the club, I would have said that Everton absolutely cannot afford to let someone of his talent go. Now that he has scored it is even more evident how allowing the Italian to leave would be moronic, so I’m glad to see Everton are on the same page.
Despite having scored just once and assisted once in 22 games this season (WhoScored), Kean will hopefully experience a much needed boost in confidence after getting off the mark, and Everton now need to nurture his talent as he grows with confidence and ability.
With Kean, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison available as options, the Blues don’t need to sign any new forwards, but they certainly don’t need to let any go either.
