Several Everton fans have called on the club to sign Djibril Sidibe on a permanent contract in the summer.
The French full-back joined the Toffees on a season-long loan deal in the summer from Monaco, with the temporary deal having a £12.75 permanent option inserted into the contract (Liverpool Echo).
Despite starting the season behind Seamus Coleman in the pecking order, Sidibe quickly established himself as the starting right-back at Goodison Park, starting 15 of his 17 Premier League games for the club (WhoScored).
Sidibe once again impressed against Watford in Everton 3-2 win at Vicarage Road on Saturday, with Everton tweeting on Monday that the World Cup winner managed eight tackles, the most of any player for the club this season.
On the back of this, a number of supporters have called on the club to make certain that Sidibe’s future remains on Merseyside beyond the current campaign.
