Everton are among a host of Premier League giants keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey.
The Jamaican winger is currently valued at £26.55m by Transfermarkt, although Leverkusen reportedly hold an internal valuation worth £10m more than that.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton will be joined by Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal in watching the star in the Europa League tonight as they assess a summer move for the 23-year-old.
However, there is a caveat to the news; the Bundesliga giants are reportedly preparing to raise their asking price even further as a consequence of the winger’s stellar performances. The Daily Mail noted that he has stepped up since the departure of Kai Havertz to Chelsea according to the Mail as he looks to cement himself as the creative maestro who strings together his team’s attacks.
Bailey’s head coach Peter Bosz described him as a player who ‘gets better with every game’ as he continually impresses. He has already managed four goals and two assists in nine Bundesliga appearances this season.

The 23-year-old seemingly has the potential to be a star of world football after his impressive European performances. It is no coincidence that several top English clubs are among the suitors scouting him as a result.
He will not come cheaply; if Everton are keen to secure their man, it is likely that a hefty sum will need to be laid down to pry Bailey away from other suitors.
There is the risk of a bidding war – it is more a question as to which party will get a deal over the line.
