Having reflected on what has been a formidable season so far for him, Michael Keane whipped up excitement from many Everton fans over his thoughts on the Toffees’ campaign.

The 27-year-old Mancunian has been an integral keystone of Carlo Ancelotti’s back line. He has featured in 17 Premier League games this season, even contributing some valuable goals in the process – three to be precise – as the ex-Manchester United man looks to shore up the Toffees’ defence.

In further evidence to his crucial role at Everton, he has featured in more than 90% of Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XIs and has played almost 95% of all possible minutes for the Merseysiders in the league (Transfermarkt).

Having signed a new long-term deal keeping him at Goodison Park until 2025 last summer, Keane is undoubtedly a Toffee for the long haul.

In a statement shared by Everton on their official Twitter channel, Keane spoke glowingly of his own season in a succinct claim, saying: “This has been my most consistent year for Everton and I feel I am playing my best football for the Club”.
