Virals: Report Links Ralf Rangnick to Everton Job

Everton fans have faced an incessant onslaught of managers being linked with the recently vacated Everton job in recent days.

One report in The Athletic recently shed light on a long shortlist of candidates under consideration at Goodison Park.

Everton officials are reportedly considering names as varied as Liverpool-associated men Steven Gerrard and Rafa Benitez through to Nuno Espirito Santo and ex-Toffees boss David Moyes.

Shared by Toffees fan account @EvertonNewsFeed on Twitter, one extra name was thrown into the managerial mixer by the Telegraph: German coach Ralf Rangnick.

A stalwart of German football on and off the pitch, the German tactician last worked as a manager for Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig in the 2018-19 season.

The 62-year-old has held an average tenure of just over two years per managerial role in his career, and also boasts technical experience through previous work as the Global Sports Director for Red Bull’s collection of clubs – including Leipzig, RB Salzburg and the New York Red Bulls.

In his last managerial job, he averaged a win percentage of over 55% and picked up an average of 1.92 points per game – an improvement of his career average of 47.78%.

Many fans flocked to Twitter to voice their opinions and concerns over Ralf Rangnick’s suitability for the role…
