Everton are reportedly ‘most interested’ in signing Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The Toffees have been linked with a move the 30-year-old previously and are believed to face competition from Premier League rivals West Ham and Newcastle United.

Somewhat out of the picture in Turin, Ramsey continues to be a key player for Wales at the international level.

According to a report from Calciomercato.it, as cited by Sport Witness on Twitter, Everton are leading the chase.

The report claims that an ‘excellent relationship’ between Juventus and the Blues has put the Merseyside club in the ascendency to land the 69-cap ace.

So far this season Ramsey, who was billed as ‘world-class’ by Joe Allen, has made just five fleeting appearances across all competitions.

Having amassed 474 senior appearances across a hugely successful career, the Welshman possess an abundance of experience that would be of great benefit to Rafa Benitez’ squad.

Despite currently sitting on a ‘monstrous salary in Italy, Everton could still land the £9million valued star at a bargain rate if the price is right.

Predominantly an attack-minded operator, Ramsey would add a new dimension to the ranks at Goodison Park.
