Ademola Lookman wanted permanently by RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig are reportedly interested in signing Ademola Lookman on a permanent deal, according to the Mirror.

The forward joined the German outfit on loan during the January transfer window, and has enjoyed a fruitful spell in the Bundesliga.

Making 11 appearances, the Wandsworth-native scored five goals.

By contrast, Lookman found first-team football difficult to come by on Merseyside. With ten appearances last year, only one of those opportunities came as part of the starting XI.

Manager Sam Allardyce took the opportunity to give the phenom a chance to experience top-flight football in another country earlier this year, and it seems Lookman has made such an impression that his host-club are now wanting to keep him on a permanent deal.

Able to play anywhere across the forward line with pace and skill, the versatility the former Charlton star can offer is particularly appealing.

Leipzig finished sixth in the Bundesliga, and will have the chance of Europa League football next season.
