Allardyce eyes January move for N’Zonzi

Everton are keeping tabs on the progress of Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi after the former Stoke man has fallen out with coach Eduardo Berizzo.

The Daily Mail report that the player has been forced to train alone while he has also been left out of the last two match-day squads.

New Everton boss Sam Allardyce is keen to bolster his midfield options in the January window and is keen to work with the 28-year-old again, who is being valued close to £25 million.

The pair worked together when Allardyce was in charge of Blackburn Rovers and the former England boss has seen him develop through in time at Sevilla and Stoke.

During his brief time as England manager, reports suggested that Allardyce wanted to bring N’Zonzi into the England fold, because he had not been involved in the French squad, but was unable to do so.
