Barcelona star’s agent denies that his player has signed for Everton

Yerry Mina’s agent has denied reports that the Barcelona centre-back has signed for Everton, Football 365 reports.

Mina, who had been a target for Liverpool this summer, had been attracting interest from many of Europe’s top clubs.

The 23-year-old has found first team opportunities hard to come by at Barcelona and is looking for a move away from the Nou Camp this summer.

Recent reports suggested that Everton had had a bid accepted by Barcelona for Mina, however the player’s agent has spoken out to deny these rumours.

It is not true that Yerry has signed for Everton.

Yerry has many teams who hold an interest in him but before we can think about that, we need to know what Barcelona plan to do.

When we hear from the club, we will make a decision.

Mina only signed for Barcelona from Palmeiras in January, making six appearances for the La Liga champions last campaign.

Liverpool had been linked with a loan move for the youngster after a series of impressive displays at the World Cup with Columbia, with Manchester United also looking at the defender.

However, new Everton boss Marco Silva is ready to make an ambitious bid for Mina as he looks to strengthen a squad that struggled last season.
