Gareth Barry will seal a move away from Everton in the next 24 hours as West Brom close in on a the signing of the 36-year-old.
The Telegraph reports that a deal is near to completion with a medical at West Brom scheduled today.
The former Manchester City midfielder, who will turn 37 in February, has been given the green light to leave Goodison Park this summer after falling down the pecking order in midfield.
Tony Pulis has earmarked the former Manchester City man as an ideal replacement for Darren Fletcher, who left for Stoke earlier in the window.
Barry is expected to be the first of four major signings for the Baggies before the end of the transfer window.
The midfielder could be available for the away trip to Burnley on Saturday.
The England international joined Everton permanently back in 2014 after a successful loan spell at the club from Manchester City.
