Besiktas are interested in signing Yannick Bolasie before the transfer deadline, according to reports.
The DR Congo winger wants to leave Everton this summer and has recently shown his frustration at not having got that move on Twitter.
The 30-year old doesn’t feature in Marco Silva’s plans for the season, and it looks extremely unlikely that those plans will change anytime soon, making Bolasie an unnecessary burden on the wage bill at Goodison Park.
According to TRT Spor journalist Firat Gunayer (via Sport Witness), this could be about to change however.
Besiktas are still in the market for attacking options before the transfer window closes, and according to Gunayer, Bolasie is a prime target for the Turkish Super Lig outfit.
The former Crystal Palace man was linked with a move earlier during the summer, but nothing materialised. Having turned down CSKA Moscow earlier this week, Besiktas will hope they can convince him to abandon the Premier League for Turkey.

It seems as though Bolasie’s imminent future is up to him. Having rejected with CSKA, and with the forward clearly set on leaving to play football, it will likely come down to the player to decide whether he wants to leave.
After his rather dismissive and disrespectful attitude toward the club on Twitter, hopefully the forward opts to leave the club. He won’t receive any game time on Merseyside, and it would be in everyone’s best interests if he would leave.
