Yannick Bolasie is a player that has been on Everton’s radar since 2014, when he had a £3 million price tag, but after an impressive 2014/15 season in South London the Congolese star’s worth has increased dramatically to £15 million. According to sources such as the Mirror and the Echo, Everton are willing to fork out for the 25-year-old.

Palace manager Alan Pardew has agreed that he will let the explosive winger leave if he is given sufficient funds to find a replacement. This exciting winger would be a good addition to the squad, but I don’t think necessarily is a necessity with Mirallas making clear that his future is with Everton, however with an impressive 4 goals and 6 assists, I would happily see him play in Royal blue next season. For me if we are looking for a mercurial winger my first choice is always Deulofeu as not only has he proved that he can perform for us, but also that he is malleable and can perform well at a high level of football in Spain with Sevilla ], helping them to potential European football next season with 1 goal and 5 assists in 17 appearances.

I think, along with many other Toffees, that Aaron Lennon should be made a permanent Everton player, but despite it being a nice idea signing all three players, it is perhaps unrealistic and Martinez should pick Bolasie over Lennon if he fails to sign Gerry. Without European football to tempt Bolasie away from Selhurst Park, Martinez will need sufficient funds and a pleasing deal to secure his signature.

matchday.
