Yannick Bolasie finally found his way out of Goodison Park last night, joining Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan.
The DR Congo international was keen to leave Everton this summer, and a host of clubs including Anderlecht and Besiktas were said to be keen on his signature.
However, Primeira Liga outfit Sporting stole the march on their competitors in the dying hours of the European transfer window, signing the 30-year old for the upcoming campaign.
Bolasie was unlikely to feature for Everton this season, with the winger deemed surplus to requirements by Marco Silva.
Many Everton fans were happy to see the former Crystal Palace man depart Merseyside this month, taking to Twitter to voice their excitement at the forward having left the club.
