According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds starlet Sam Byram’s move to Everton could be confirmed today after the promising youngster agreed personal terms and completed a medical ahead of his imminent move to Goodison Park.
The reported fee for Byram is said to be around £3.7 million; a fee which could increase in the future due to add-ons.
Byram has enjoyed an excellent season for Leeds so far and has been utilised by manager Steve Evans in an unfamiliar forward role as a right-sided midfielder; a more advanced role when compared with his natural right-back duties.
The 22-year-old has not been phased by his positional change and has chipped in with three goals and an assist from the wing.

It has been well documented for months now that Byram has shown reluctance to sign a new and improved deal at Elland Road, with the youngster’s sights set firmly on a move to the Premier League, so it is no surprise to see his wish granted in this transfer window.
The signing of the versatile defender is sure to be a big boost for Roberto Martinez’s men, Byram will be able to offer an option anywhere down the right hand side and will be keen to impress during his first few months of Premier League football.
