  • TFG have made its intentions clear to turn Everton into a footballing powerhouse.
  • Have explored several opportunities to expand commercial capacity of the Toffees.
  • CMC Markets has offered around £30 million to sponsor the Blues next season.

The Friedkin Group’s takeover of Everton was a landmark moment in the club’s history.

After purchasing one of England’s most historic sides, the new owners have explored several ways to expand the commercial operations of the Toffees.

Last season, the Blues saw record-breaking revenues, and are set to better this figure in their first year at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

On top of this, Everton have now reportedly received a huge offer from a London-listed company to sponsor the club from next season.

CMC Markets has offered around £30 million to sponsor Everton

CMC Markets, a financial services company run by Lord Cruddas, has made an offer to sponsor Everton next season, with a reported value of around £30 million, according to Mark Kleinman.

It is understood that CMC Markets would be the Toffees’ front shirt sponsor, with their current sponsor, Stake, no longer being allowed to appear as a front shirt sponsor due to the Premier League axing gambling sponsorship deals.

Everton were in talks with the London-based company in March, but a deal with them appears to be close to completion.

Should the Blues secure this sponsorship deal, it could be their most lucrative front-of-shirt sponsorship deal in history.

The Friedkin Group are working their financial magic

Everton have been crying out for their club to be run properly.

While some dislike the way modern football has progressed into a sport that is built on the commerciality of clubs, it is a case that teams must accept this and run with it, or disregard it and drown.

The Friedkin’s have faced some criticism since their arrival, which was spotlighted through the price increase of season tickets, but they must be given credit for how they are turning Everton into a footballing finance giant.

Attracting lucrative sponsors such as CMC Markets only highlights that the club is moving in the right direction, and they are being given the tools to thrive on the foundations that have already been built.

Although the club has faced a couple of disappointing results in the past two weeks, news of this nature will reassure Evertonians that, despite the recent hiccups, their team is still on the way up.
