Seamus Coleman has been given his marching orders for Everton in their Premier League clash with Burnley.
The Irish full-back’s clumsy collision with Clarets midfielder Dwight McNeil caused referee Graham Scott to brandish a second yellow, with the Everton captain already the second player to be sent off for the Toffees this season.
Gylfi Sigurdsson subsequently made way as Marco Silva introduced Djibril Sidibe for his Premier League debut to fill the gap left behind by the Irishman.

As the time of writing, the score is 1-0 to Burnley at Turf Moor, and Coleman’s sending off undoubtedly makes Everton’s task a much more difficult one.
Many Everton fans responded with frustration online following the reckless challenge from the 30-year old defender.
