Everton Football Club have today completed the signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City for an undisclosed fee.
The Icelandic international had been linked with a move to Goodison Park for some time, but a deal has now finally been secured.

Upon joining the club, Sigurdsson explained just how happy he is to finally be in blue.
“Hopefully I will continue to create goals and score goals for the team and contribute to the kind of success we’re seeking at the Club,” he explained.
“This is an ambitious club and it is clear we are moving in a really good direction.”
Sigurdsson established himself as a talisman for the Swans in his last two seasons at the club, helping to keep them afloat in the Premier League.
Ronald Koeman is a clear admirer of the playmaker and has now landed his man for a fee that is believed to be worth around £45m.
Sigurdsson is the latest signing for Everton in what has been a hugely busy window, in which the likes of Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane have been acquired.
The former Tottenham midfielder will join up with his teammates now and will be keen to impress in Everton’s clash on Monday against Manchester City.
