Everton trio hoping for minutes

Pickford is the Everton player certain to be involved from the start. Tuchel gave Trafford the opening two matches against Spain and Czechia but planned to bring his established No.1 back into the team for Croatia.

Branthwaite is another option in defence, while Garner gives Tuchel an alternative in midfield after being called into the squad during the international window.

It means Everton could have representation in all three central areas of the England side as the Nations League campaign continues.

For Evertonians, the priority beyond the result will be seeing the trio come through today’s game without a problem before attention turns back towards club football.
