Nikola Vlasic has been enjoying a fruitful spell on loan at CSKA Moscow.
The 21-year-old has made 16 appearances in all competitions for his new team, and has made something of an impression on the Russian giants.
Reports have suggested that CSKA are interested in signing the midfielder on a permanent deal, with club chief Yevgeny Giner being quoted as saying:
We had a conversation with Everton that we were renting it for a year or two, and did not register the options for the purchase, and did not discuss it. Are we interested in it now? I think it would be interesting for both us and Nikole himself.
Vlasic joined Everton last summer from Hajduk Split, and made 19 appearances before being shipped out to the Russian Premier League to gain valuable experience.
In his time as a Toffee, Vlasic scored two goals.
