Davies injured on international duty

Tom Davies has returned to Everton this week after sustaining an injury on international duty.

The midfielder linked up with England’s under-21’s but has now been sent back to Liverpool in order to receive treatment on his knock, according to Dominic King of The Daily Mail.

Davies now looks set to use the next two weeks to recover from his hamstring injury.

Everton travel away to face, bottom of the league, Crystal Palace after the international break, with Davies now facing a race to be fit for the match.

Dominic King claims that the injury is not too serious, which gives Everton fans hope that Davies will be ready for the trip to London.

The 19-year-old midfielder has played 18 matches for Everton in all competitions this season.
