Borussia Dortmund have joined the list of clubs who have registered an interest in signing Norwich defender Max Aarons.
Everton’s interest in the Canaries’ right-back was reported last week, with the Toffees joining Arsenal, West Ham and Tottenham in monitoring the full-back.
Sky Sports now report that Dortmund have entered the running, while also crediting fellow Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig with an interest.

Norwich are understood to be willing to let Aarons go this month for around £30million, although Sky Sports’ report claims that the majority of interested clubs would prefer to wait until the summer to sign the 20-year old.
Spurs are the sole party currently considering an immediate approach, as they weigh up whether to move early and steal a march on their competitors.

Everton’s principle dilemma over whether to sign Max Aarons comes down to their abundance of choice in the right-back position. Seamus Coleman is under contract until 2022, Jonjoe Kenny will return to Merseyside at the end of his Schalke loan spell and Djibril Sidibe could sign permanently in the summer for around £13million.
Should Everton want to sign another option for that position, then they could do much worse than consider Aarons. Not only is the full-back fairly experienced despite his young age, having played 60 times in the league for the Canaries (via Soccerbase), but he has also become an integral player to Norwich’s side, with Daniel Farke having expressed that there is ‘no scenario’ in which he would let the full-back leave this month.
Should Aarons be available in the summer, he would be a positive long-term appointment, but Everton would face plenty of competition, and that is if they even needed to sign the defender.
