Promising Everton youngster is looking set for a loan spell away from the club, with Nottingham Forest set to tie up a deal for the midfielder on Wednesday.
According to a report from the Nottingham Post, the highly-rated Toffees prospect is set to drop down a division as he looks to gain more experience of first-team football.
Dowell is held in extremely high regard by those at Goodison Park, and also by the Everton supporters as a whole. He will be keen to develop himself during this season-long loan spell away at Forest, with them looking to make a push for promotion this season.

The attacking midfielder made two league appearances at senior level near the end of the 2015/16 campaign but has since been out of contention.
However, he has impressed in pre-season and this has led to interest from clubs such as Forest.
Dowell was a key component of England U20’s World Cup winning squad this summer, also.
