Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace - How fans reacted to the result

Everton began their new Premier League campaign with a goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today, and many fans online weren’t particularly pleased.

The Toffees spent a lot of money on fresh recruits this summer while pundits and football experts alike have praised the club’s transfer business, however the club weren’t able to create many opportunities on Saturday afternoon, failing to find a way to win against the Eagles.

New signing Andre Gomes started the game for the Blues, while Moise Kean and JP Gbamin came off the bench to make their respective debuts for the Merseyside club.

Marco Silva will likely look to the positives from this fixture, despite the injury to Gomes and red card received by Morgan Schneiderlin, ahead of hosting Watford at Goodison Park next weekend.
