Everton aren’t prepared to let Kean leave in January

Everton are not prepared to let Moise Kean leave the club in January, according to reports.

Speculation has been rife in the Italian media of Kean’s struggles on Merseyside this season so far, and how that could potentially lead to an early exit for the Italian.

The 19-year old has yet to score in 11 appearances for the club, and many reports in the Italian media had claimed that the forward could potentially have been loaned out once the winter window opens.

However, Marco Silva declared at a recent press conference that he had no plans to let Kean go, and now an Italian outlet have picked up a similar story.

Calciomercato (via Sports Mole) claim that Everton do not have any plans to offload the talented forward, who they signed for £27million from Juventus in the summer, once the January window opens.

The report also claims that Everton are still confident that Kean will come good once he has been allowed to fully settle into English football and the Premier League.

It is a nice change of pace to see an Italian outlet not try to force a transfer through for Kean, as most other outlets seem to be doing.

The Italian is so young but so talented, and the likelihood that Everton would abandon hope in such a prospect so early on is so minimal.

Kean should have came on against Norwich and the fact that he didn’t isn’t promising, but hopefully when Marco Silva is inevitably sacked, the new manager knows how to utilise him better.
