Henry Onyekuru has confirmed that he has returned to RSC Anderlecht for the remainder of the season having recovered from a long-term knee injury.
The promising Nigerian forward signed for Everton in the last summer transfer window following a tremendous breakthrough season with Belgian side Eupen.
However, he has not played a role in the senior side with the Toffees this term and after his arrival was confirmed, Onyekuru joined Anderlecht on a season-long loan.
The striker came in for plenty of criticism in Belgium despite some exciting performances in the Pro League, before he suffered a long-term injury. This saw him return to USM Finch Farm for treatment on his knee.

It was initially thought that Onyekuru’s time at Anderlecht would then come to an end due to the blow. However, it seems the 20-year-old is back and raring to go.
Nigerian news outlets, as cited by the Liverpool Echo, quote Onyekuru confirming his return to Anderlecht for the run-in.
I’m back in Anderlecht now to finish the season.
