Everton are considering PSV winger Steven Bergwijn as an alternative if they fail to land Wilfried Zaha, according to Football Insider.
The Toffees are desperate to find a winger before the window shuts, as well as a centre-back, and Zaha appears to be the clubs top target. However, Crystal Palace have so far played hard-ball, and it remains unclear whether the Eagles will let their star man leave.
With time running out with the transfer deadline fast approaching, Football Insider report that an Everton source has informed them that Bergwijn is another option being considered by the club.

The exciting 21-year old is one of the more impressive players among PSV’s ranks, and Marcel Brands will know the player well from his time in Eindhoven.
While Bergwijn has been linked with the Premier League for some time now, journalist Graeme Bailey claims that Bayern Munich see the winger as an alternative to their top target Leroy Sane, while several Premier League clubs are still talking to PSV.

Bergwijn has such a stellar reputation in the Netherlands that I must admit I’m excited by the prospect of being in for the 21-year old, despite not having watched him all that much.
The Dutchman has impressed both domestically and on the international stage, and with his age and ability he falls clearly into Marcel Brands’ ideal signing parameters.
However, given the opportunity to choose, I would definitely prefer a mega-money move for Zaha. I know what to expect from the Ivory Coast international, and I trust in his ability to shine for the Toffees, should he be the man to move to Goodison Park.
