Everton are one of several clubs to have made an enquiry over Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis, according to reports.
The 22-year old forward has attracted a lot of attention after his impressive start to the season in Belgian, while his form also saw him earn his first international cap for Nigeria in September.
Arsenal and Manchester United have also reportedly enquired about the striker’s availability, so reports Foot Mercato (via TBR) with all three Premier League outfits keen on signing forward reinforcements in January.
Everton have been forced to rely heavily on Dominic Calvert-Lewin this season, with Moise Kean failing to perform and with Cenk Tosun coming in and out of the squad.

With both Tosun and outcast Oumar Niasse expected to leave the club in January, the Blues will need to add another forward, and Dennis could be the man that Everton set their eyes on.
Foot Mercato’s report claims that while none of the aforementioned clubs has made a concrete offer as of yet, they’re all keeping tabs on his situation in the Pro League.
Brugge would likely demand at least £25million for the forward, while Dennis is believed to be keen on finishing the season in Belgium before moving on.

Dennis would be a gamble Everton, as there is a clear quality disparity between the Premier League and the Pro League. That being said, he wouldn’t be the first to come over here and succeed, so there could be merit in Everton’s interest.
Facing off against Arsenal and Manchester United could prove problematic, particularly as the latter are particularly keen on another forward in January. Dennis is youth, promising and still getting better, and United could opt to take a punt on a player like him.
Dennis has proved he is capable of playing in the Champions League this season, having scored twice against Real Madrid, while his domestic performances have interested a lot of clubs. Should he fail to get a Premier League move in January, he’ll likely attract further interest down the line.
