Everton are claimed to have enquired about the availability of Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia ahead of a potential January move.
In today’s printed version of Italian news outlet Corriere Dello Sport, as covered by Sport Witness, Everton are named amongst four other clubs to be potential suitors for the out-of-favour Frenchman, who has found regular game time considerably hard to come by so far this season.
Kondogbia hasn’t really found his feet at the San Siro since his move from Monaco, where he caught the eye of several with some imperious displays in the middle.

It’s likely that the French midfielder will command a fairly high price tag given that he is only 23-years-old and has undoubted quality, but Everton will be keen to bolster their midfield in the coming transfer windows given that Gareth Barry is approaching the twilight years of his career and Ronald Koeman will want someone of high prestige to partner Idrissa Gueye in the midfield.
However, if The Toffees are to pursue their interest, they must do it quickly as the report states that both Southampton and Everton are showing interest in Kondogbia too.
Ligue 1 giants PSG and Marseille are two other teams to be eyeing the France international too.
