Everton eye move for League Two starlet

Everton are one of four clubs ready to move for Oldham starlet Tom Hamer, according to a Football Insider exclusive.

Along with Leeds, Burnley and Brighton, Everton are believed to have been keeping tabs on Hamer for some time now, with the club viewing him as a potential star in the making.

Now, Football Insider understand that the four clubs are ready to test Oldham’s resolve by firming up their interest.

Hamer broke into the Oldham side last season, making nine appearances in all competitions and he has been likened to former Oldham defender and current England international James Tarkowski.

Hamer signed his first professional contract with Oldham in April and the League Two club would find it hard to turn down any sizeable offer for the teenager.
