According to a report from the Liverpool Echo this morning, Everton are looking to make a move for CSKA Moscow playmaker Alan Dzagoev.
The Russian international was always tipped for big things during the early stages of his career, with the creative talent showing signs of excellent technical quality and composure on the ball.
However, he’s now 26-years-old and is finally fulfilling his potential with some superb performances for the Russian giants.
Dzagoev has previously expressed his interest in making a move to the Premier League in the near future, so this could be an encouraging prospect for Everton if they are to move in for him.
In 50 appearances for his native Russia, Dzagoev has managed to bag nine goals from midfield.
The playmaker is capable of playing in the attacking midfield role just behind the striker and also out on either wing.
Ronald Koeman does face competition from West Ham for his signature, though.
