Everton eyeing French youngster Martin Terrier

Premier League side Everton are said to be interested in signing LOSC Lille starlet Martin Terrier, reports L’Equipe, as cited on Sport Witness.

The 20-year-old winger has progressed massively in Ligue 1 this season and has caught the eye of a few European clubs.

Fellow top-flight side West Ham, along with Italian outfit Fiorentina were reported to be interested in the youngster back in January, however, neither side could pull off a deal.

The French outlet claim the Toffees manager Ronald Koeman is ‘willing to go on the offensive’ to sign Terrier, who made 15 appearances for Lille this season, helping himself to two goals.

Terrier has only recently broken into the Lille side, and hasn’t yet been able to properly prove himself in the game, but since Koeman’s arrival at the club, Everton have made it their mission to secure the signatures of some of the best young talent available and Terrier appears to be the next name on that list.
