Cenk Tosun once again proved to be the hero during the international break on Friday, leading more Everton fans to call for him to receive more game time.
The 28-year old played the full 90 against Albania in Turkey’s Euro 2020 qualifying tie, where he went on to score in stoppage time to win the game 1-0.
It had looked like both sides would be consigned to a stalemate, only for Tosun’s last minute heroics to keep Turkey joint top of their group with France.
Inevitably, Tosun’s goal led to many Everton fans calling on the club to give him a chance in the Premier League.
With the Blues having lost their lost four league fixtures on the spin, change is definitely needed, and with the club’s strike-force having struggled as of late, many have suggested that Tosun deserves a chance to impress.
Several fans took to social media to call on the club to give the former Besiktas man a chance.

Read Everton Verdict
I won’t harp on again because I’ve made my stance clear, but it is clear that Everton should give the forward a shot.
He could be dreadful, Marco Silva could be right to leave him out, and he will be swiftly sold in January. But until then, we don’t know how influential he could be, and if he keeps scoring for Turkey then Silva doesn’t really have a leg to stand in on leaving him out.
Silva needs to make changes else he could be gone very soon, and Cenk would be a change that could prove to be a masterstroke, if Silva can be pragmatic enough to accept where he has been going wrong.
