Marco Silva has confirmed that Morgan Schneiderlin and Fabian Delph are both available to face Brighton this weekend after recovering from respective injuries.
The duo missed last weekend’s 2-0 victory over West Ham, with Andre Gomes and Tom Davies starting in midfield for the Toffees.
Silva will face a selection dilemma over who he chooses to field against the Seagulls, with the former Watford coach wanting a second successive win to continue Everton’s season turnaround.
Responding to the injury news on social media though, many Everton fans were not keen to see Delph or Schneiderlin come back into Silva’s side, particularly considering the confident display Gomes and Davies put on against the Hammers.

I tend to agree with the majority of people here who are calling Everton to remain unchanged. Gomes and Davies struck up a tidy partnership against the Hammers, and unless injury provokes it, there shouldn’t be drastic change to a winning side.
Davies deserves a run out, too. He’s waited patiently for his opportunity, and to drop him and reinstate Delph now would be a blow to his confidence.
Hopefully Everton remain unchanged for the game against the ‘Gulls, I’d shockingly even like to see Theo Walcott keep his place, and hopefully they can rise to a similar level again.
