Everton fans hail Brands as Kean move seemingly edges closer

Everton appear to be edging closer to signing Moise Kean from Juventus.

The Toffees have reportedly agreed on an initial transfer fee of £27.5 million for the 19-year-old, which could rise to £36.5 million with performance-based add ons.

Most importantly for Everton fans, according to the Daily Mail, a deal won’t include a buy-back clause.

Juventus will have the first refusal on bringing the player back to Turin if Everton do decide to sell, however, if he makes the impact many expect him to, the Toffees will be looking to keep hold of the Italian for the foreseeable future.

That news has come to the delight of Toffees fans on social media, with multiple fans heaping praise on chief Marcel Brands, who would have played a key role in the proposed deal.

A move for Kean looks to be an excellent piece of business, especially with no buy-back clause.

The Italy international, who is known for his bold dancing celebrations, appears to have a bright future ahead of him and has similar qualities to former Everton star Romelu Lukaku.

Kean is quick, strong and has a real eye for goal, so the Toffees look like they have secured their new number nine in an outstanding deal, all thanks to the brilliance of Brands.
