Several Everton fans are hopeful that Moise Kean can take advantage of Richarlison’s injury, with the Brazilian set to miss this weekend’s game against West Ham.
Carlo Ancelotti announced in his pre-match press conference on Friday that Richarlison, as well as Gylfi Sigurdsson, would miss Saturday’s game against the Hammers.
Sigurdsson is suffering from a groin issue, while Richarlison has a twisted knee that will rule him out of the game at the London Stadium, although Ancelotti hopes to have him fit to face Newcastle on Tuesday.
In the meantime, it is expected that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will continue to lead the line for the Toffees, while a number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment with Richarlison’s absence, as well as their hope that Kean can take make the most of his chance, should he be picked to play.

Richarlison will be a huge miss for Everton against the Hammers, with the Brazilian forward having played every game in all competitions for the Blues so far this season (Transfermarkt), scoring ten goals and assisting four times in the process.
Moise Kean certainly has every opporutnity to impress against rhe Hammers, who haven’t been as resolute at the back as they would have liked to have been in recent weeks. Should the Italian apply himself correctly, there is no reason that the 19-year old can’t score his first goal for the club against David Moyes’ side.
Thankfully Richarlison won’t be out for a long time, but Kean could benefit from providing Carlo Ancelotti food for thought by scoring and putting in a shift against a West Ham who will be desperate to get a result.
