Everton fans lament lack of crowd in FA Cup win over Spurs

From triumphant highs to anxiety-inducing moments of madness, Everton’s FA Cup clash with Tottenham proved one to remember after the Toffees edged past Jose Mourinho’s side to win 5-4 after extra time.

Leads were undone as swiftly as they were rebuilt by Everton in a game which did not lack for entertainment value. A brace from Richarlison, a hat-trick of assists from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin taking his season’s goal tally to 18 were just some of the memorable individual aspects of the victory.

Many Everton fans took to Twitter having been struck by the club’s emotion-inspiring tweet as they looked ahead to the day when they will walk through the turnstiles of Goodison Park once more…
